Like A Bug To A Porch Light
I frequent the Yuku roleplaying boards a lot, so I've got a couple that you might wanna check out.
The Gungan Council - It's old, it's big, and it's fancy. An association of different boards all based around Star Wars and run by the quirkiest staff you'll ever meet. Neuts for life!
Descension - Another Star Wars board, run by Shery deWinter and not really set in any canon timeline just to keep things a little more flexible. The out-of-character goofiness alone is worth lurking on the site for.
Obsidian Night - Warning: This page is sparkly! Not safe for epileptics! O.N. is a freeform RP site with a small, tight-knit group of casual writers, led by LarLan. Glittersparkle jokes aside, it's still a great place to write at and accepts any character concept, not matter how outlandish.
The rest of my time online is largely spent with a few webcomics that keep on drawing me back again and again. I highly suggest you check out every one of these.
The Order of the Stick - Possibly the most famous D&D comic on the web, Rich Burlew never ceases to amaze us (or make us split our sides with uncontrollable laughter). Every remotely serious gamer needs to read this comic. It's like Ghostbusters for geeks.
Keychain of Creation - Another stick figure comic that directly rips off draws inspiration from OotS and applies it to Exalted. This one focuses less on humor and more on over-the-top action, but is every bit as worthwhile as its spiritual successor.
El Goonish Shive - Ever watched Ranma 1/2? EGS is that in comic form. A masterpiece by Dan Shive and possibly my favorite comic ever, the banner for the site says it best: "El Goonish Shive: It's Really Weird". (Don't worry about the poor quality of the first comics. He gets much better.)
xkcd - Don't even try to pronounce that. xkcd is yet another stick figure comic by Randall Munroe based in nerd humor. Sometimes it gets a little math-heavy for the uninitiated, but in general it's freakin' hilarious. Just hit "Random", laugh, rinse, repeat.
Eerie Cuties - A fairly new comic by Gisele Lagace that follows a bunch of teenagers through high school. Easy, right? Well, it gets a little more interesting when these teenagers include two vampires, a succubus, a werewolf, a werecat...

Personal Skills: If it's got gears or moving parts, Anna knows how to take it apart, put it back together, make it dance the Cha-cha and install a thermal cupholder. Recently, she's been picking up on rudimentary medical theory, too. Basic military self-defense training didn't include guns, however...
Personality: Completely selfless, driven to help others despite personal danger or loss. Refuses to actively take life and goes to great lengths to stop death in all forms. Actively tries to improve the world around her, caring nothing for personal gain in the process. Despite the sarcasm, kind and patient with those who need help, but a firebrand with anyone who tramples on her ideals.
Hobbies: If it doesn't involve circuitry, Anna gets bored pretty quickly.
